To the Lucore family, At a time like this it's hard to find the right words to comfort. I only hope knowing that others care is of some comfort in your time of sorrow. May God bless you all. Tom Murphy

Connie,
We will all miss Tom very much. As you know he was the kindest and most gentle person we all could have known .
To say that Tom was a car guy would be an understatement. His love for cars was second to none. I have many stories about travel with Tom like running a night rally in the Bugeye Sprite in the rain, and of course the side curtains and top wouldn't keep anything dry, including mimeographed instructions. Then there was a trip to Michigan in his Healey 100 right after HS graduation, full of adventure caused by the typical unreliability of the English cars of those days.
One time his sister baked dozens of chocolate chip cookies for a ski trip and Tom and I devoured most of them in a single sitting.
He was truly a great friend to have known.

I am so sorry for your loss. Tom was a nice guy and I enjoyed those times when he was assigned to work at the library and we got to chat. May he rest in peace.

All of us car people who knew Louie/Tom very much regret his passing. I've known him most of my life from growing up in the Franklin School neighborhood to now, though we weren't close I always regarded him as a friend. Was so looking forward to spending time with him in our retirement years. I just finished my performance car restoration and was planning to show it to him. Regrettably, we've never met, but know that I share in your loss. Tom was truly a great guy.
