May I offer my sincere condolences. May your hearts find comfort in God's Word where it states: "He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord will wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8) May your loved one awaken to a world where there will be peace, no sickness (Isaiah 33:24), and no more troubles (Revelation 21:4) throughout eternity (Psalm 37:29). May your hearts find comfort and hope in the wonderful hope found in the Bible, your family, friends and good memories at this time. My deepest sympathy to you.

I worked with Bob for 17 years at 6th St. It was always a pleasure to work with him. He was a kind, friendly coworker.

Your obituary said so much in the last sentence. I had not seen your Dad in about 30 years until he came to Mom's 90th birthday party at Monti in October, 2014. He passed by me in the crowd without me recognizing him but I happened to see him smile and it was instant recognition...so glad I got to speak with him! What a nice man, and my parents were so fortunate to have your Mom and Dad as close friends. You have our deepest sympathies.

To all my McAleer cousins,
Am so sorry Mike and I are in Florida and cannot attend the services. Uncle Bob was a wonderful man and I am so glad we got to visit with him in December when he came to Independence to see Mom. He always loved to talk about baseball with Mike. We are thinking of you and sending prayers.
Love, Mike and Judy

Dear McAleer Family,
Barb and I would like to express our sincere and deepest sympathies with Bob's passing. He was most certainly a kind and generous soul who loved God, family and country above all else. He set an excellent example for all who knew him on a daily basis.
He will be missed by not only his close knit family but by all of us who were touched in some way by Bob.
Please be rest assured of our thoughts and prayers at this time of remembering, grieving and healing. May Bob's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace!

Sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I think I only met he and Rosemary a few times. But the last time was when they and Aunt Dorothy Uncle Pete came to California and visited with my parents, Steve and Fran Stevenson. I know the 3 girls had a really fun visit, pretty sure the boys too! Memories.

Dear McAleer Family,
I am sorry to hear that Mr. McAleer has passed away. He was a great guy who had a good, long life. He left a legacy of kindness and devotion for us all to follow. I have fond memories of high school days when Mr. Mac would make it to our baseball games or other activities. It was always better when he was in the room. My parents had so much respect for him, and Mrs. McAleer too. My last memory of Mr. McAleer is a good one: he was dancing in the congo line at Jim and Diann's wedding reception in 2014 and moving pretty good for a man in his late eighties! I know that you all will miss him. Please accept my condolences. Sincerely, Tom Hidder

To the family and many friends of Bob McAleer:
Audrey and I send our heartfelt condolences on the loss of my friend of 75 years, Bob McAleer.
We first met at the Immaculate Conception High School in 1941, our junior year, became friends and have been ever since. The last time we got together was for dinner last June at the Ox Yoke Inn in Amana. My brother Father Charles Duster, SSC, also a friend of Bob's, will offer a mass for the repose of Bob's soul Monday, February 29th, in the chapel of the St. Columban Foreign Mission Society's headquarters in Belleview, NE (Omaha). May Bob's spirit rest in the peace of our Lord. Signed: Bill Duster, Littleton, CO
