Loretta Allard

Born in Cedar Rapids, IA
Born on Aug 14, 1931
Departed on Sep 9, 2015

Loretta was along with my mother Helen one of the most saintly and Godly women I have ever known. She always exhibited Christ-likeness and the fruit of the Spirit and she made everyone near her feel eternally richer. God bless and comfort Roy and family during this time of loss and yet great expectation of that day she meets you all in Glory.

Mike & family, My deepest sympathy to you on the passing of your Mom. I can tell by the things I've read here that she was a lovely, spiritual woman who was beloved by many.

Dear Rhonda, I have so many wonderful memories of your Mom. She was always gentle and kind. I loved when she was our Blue Bird leader with Bonnie Bangs. I remember the Halloween parties and the cookies, and the games; the sleepovers and her scrambled eggs! She was a great lady and I will miss seeing her at Trinity when I visit CR. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

When I think of Loretta, I think of her smiling every time we walked in the door. Always sitting close to Roy. Her love and support always available to anyone. She is an example of love, grace and strength even in death. Now she lives eternal with the One who supplies her perfect love, grace and strength. We'll see you again Loretta. "Ben's wife" will too!

Roy: So sorry for your loss. May the memories of Loretta and all your wonderful years together be of comfort to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

The Allard Family. I worked with Loretta at Von Maur and we have exchanged Christmas cards ever since. She was a wonderful, kind, and soft spoken lady I was sorry to hear of her passing. Please accept my condolences. Becky J. Meier

To Loretta's Family I worked with Loretta at Von Maur. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. She was always smiling and she made everyone else feel better by her kindness and sense of fun. I have thought of her often and wish I would have kept in touch. I will continue to think of her and smile when I do. With sympathy for your loss, Kathy Burnes

We are very sorry to learn of your loss of such a wonderful saint and matriarch. We trust you all will be blessed and strengthened through treasured memories of her and by the comfort only our God Himself can provide.
